Connection Method For Hose Fittings

The connection methods between pipes and hose fittings in hydraulic systems are also different. Tapered threads rely on their own vertebrae for fastening and use materials such as PTFE for sealing operations, and are mainly used in medium and low pressure hydraulic systems. Fine threads seal very well and are often used in high pressure systems, but require a combination washer or O-ring to close the end face, sometimes using a copper washer, which is more suitable to allow comparison on the connection wall.

In thick tubes, the main components of a hose joint are the joint body, the receiving device and the nut. In use, the joint body is embedded in the guide line and the end face is sealed by the above-mentioned gasket. The joint body and the joint of the hose joint are sealed with rubber, sometimes using the spherical sealing method.
